Aztec Religious Studies
Presentations; Ayden and Liam share their glyph stories for interpretation.
Everyone shared their brainstormed themed questions for our board game.
Read First few entries of Kids @ the Crossroads Aztec. We are following Yoatl, age 12 as he navigates through living an Aztec life. His father has just been stripped of his high warrior rank and now instead of going to a calmecac, he is forced to attend the House of Youth.
Aztec Laws. We discussed the Aztec's legal system and their rules and punishments. Everything form marriage (polygamy), criminal activity(include theft using sorcery...), property and more.
Lots of brainstorming time for our game. Way to go, lots of decisions made!
The Goal of the game is to reach to travel through your youth and warrior life, die and make your journey to Mitlan. Great team work to reach this conclusion!
Board Design has been created to use 3 circles, each within the other. Each representing a phase; youth, adulthood and the Mitlan. Youth will go Youth-Gods-Youth-Misc, Adult Life will go Warrior-Law-Gods-Misc, Mitlan will go Mitlan-Trivia. After Youth, Adult Life and the levels of Mitlan there will be a series of challenges that the player will go through. There will be interior circles to hold the 7 decks of cards. Excellent ideas team!
