Ayden: god of agriculture
Zander: Proteus; old man of the sea, 2999 siblings, could see the future. Shared poem he made about Proteus.
Ren: Hercules; son of Zeus, demigod, made up a song about the early years of Hercules and shared with class.
Kai: Aiode, god of music and song, shared a poem he made about Aiode
Hannah: Goddess Nike, shared lots of information about her and a poem as well. Way to go Hannah, she also wrote it out in Greek letters!
Leif: Gelos and Hypnos
Taro: Nereus and Lamia

explaining the strategies of a hoplite, weapons and armour of a hoplite, the history of the hoplite and a video about the hoplites (which featured more of their weapons, armour, battle formations, etc)
Also briefly went over the evolution of the hoplite:

Discussed the final class' symposium.
Hannah, Kai and Ren will be performing a play that they will work on.
Leif and Zander will be Greece and Taro and Ayden will be Persia in a paneled debate.
Start gathering costumes for the symposium as we all come in Ancient Greek wear.
Also think of Greek dish to bring as we will be feasting.

(don't forget too to take notes about other city states as you will be debating them at the symposium)
