1. You choose either a or b
(a) Design a Viking Map
Print out or draw a map of that includes the Viking Settlements and draw in their routes along with whatever dangers they may want to avoid. Label the main countries, seas and any important Viking settlements. Have fun and get creative Viking style (you never know what sea creatures may be lurking). Include a legend and scale.
OR
(b) Try your hand at Navigation
Research a Method of Navigation and try using it and Share your experience (Sunstones, Stars, Horizon/Latitude, Migrations)
2. Decide on a Viking novel you'd like to read.
3. Start planning for your class presentation/sharing. (Zander and Dylan are next week!)
